Carson Porter is a retired attorney. In the course of his career, Mr. Porter represented many clients in the health care field, including more than 100 hospitals, as well as long term care and home health operators and practicing physicians involved in a variety of health care ventures.
As an entrepreneur, Mr. Porter has served as CEO of four different companies ranging in size from over 2,500 employees down to 5 employees.
He has extensive experience in growing, buying and selling private middle-market businesses.
Mr. Porter is Chairman of the International Community of Enlightened Entrepreneurs, which is a not-for-profit organization established to share the passion and connect the spirit of enlightened entrepreneurs around the globe.
Mr. Porter is also the author of Your High Credibility Formula. This book focuses on how to achieve lasting high-credibility in one’s work and life. It is written as a parable and is aimed at anyone who is interested in improving his/her personal or business credibility in order to sustain lasting success.
Mr. Porter also serves on the Board of Advisors at his Alma mater, the University of Kentucky College of Arts & Sciences. Mr. Porter holds both B.S. and J. D. degrees from the University of Kentucky.
Mr. Porter is a member of World Presidents Organization and a past member of Young Presidents Organization where he served as Founder and Chair of the YPO Health care Focus Forum. He is a well-regarded speaker on various business management and leadership topics.
